| Reduction |

Reduction is the core of numerology calculations. You can take any number no matter how long it is and eventually reduce it down to a single digit from 1 to 9. Let us take the year 1968 as an example. To reduce it to it's single digit we must add together each of the numbers that make it up. So we add together 1 + 9 + 6 + 8 = 24. Keep reducing until you have a single digit. So we add together 2 + 4 = 6. There is an exception to this rule. There exist numbers which are called Master Numbers, these numbers must not be reduced. The Master numbers are 11 and 22. There exist higher numbers such as 33 and 44 but for now we are working only with 11 and 22 on this web site.
