A Modern Re-Rendering of The Marseilles Tarot - A Classic Tarot Style.

The deck's line drawings follow the forms of the Tarot de Marseilles, but with looser and bolder interpretations to the figures (approaching that of NaÔve Art's), especially in the foliage forms of the pips. An aged look was used as a theme for the colors of the deck, using time-worn colors and crusty, crumbling textures.

The faux-vintaged look of the cards are meant to evoke an atmosphere of worn edges, olden times, mysterious artefacts, dusty corridors where a turn may reveal a hidden treasure or two all but forgotten by time...

This deck, being inspired by the Marseilles Tradition of Tarot, is especially suitable for learning the Tarot's pips' interpretations by heart, with the suits' symbols almost abstractly arranged on each pip card.
